Wednesday August 22nd 2018 was a day to remember for Caroline Damaris Kasau after winning Ksh 1 Million with Lotto.
The 48-year-old resident of Mwingi in Kitui County had borne a vision that this would be her year of good things. This she had confessed to her family.
Today, her family is still spreading the message that Lotto is a people’s game. She thanks Lotto for the opportunity to play and a chance to win. She encourages many more Kenyans to play Lotto.
Damaris had been playing at least three times a week, on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays. She continues to play, hoping to win some more money someday.
For Damaris the fact that she was contributing to the Lotto Foundation motivated her to play. It was not all for the money. Negative voices and claims that Lotto was not real didn’t discourage her.
She now has to happily nod whenever the same people return to acknowledge that Lotto is true.
With the Lotto loot, Damaris and her husband plan to expand her cloths business. They will also complete a house they were constructing in the village and help their daughter to enroll for a Master’s degree.
Damaris cannot thank Lotto any more than she has for the opportunity to play and a chance to win. She encourages many more Kenyans to play Lotto.
Damaris still continues to play, hoping to win more money. She requests the Lotto Foundation to reach areas affected by land conflict bordering Kitui and Tana River Counties.
